The
Garth is surrounded by really lovely gardens – full of interesting
old trees and ornamental bushes with a variety of places to sit and
enjoy the tranquillity and spectacular views. We want you to enjoy
the gardens as much as the house. The bird-life here is wonderful.
You can spend your whole time here
and never use your car if you want. There are plenty of good walks
from the door and yet Windermere and Ambleside are close enough
to be easily accessed and all the other popular attractions are
within easy reach.
